Sylvia Nguyen is happy to spend a lot of her time as a realtor in Vancouver working on her laptop and helping her clients, but when she’s not working, she loves spending time with friends and family. We also discovered that she has a hidden talent! We sat down with Sylvia to ask her a few questions and get to know her better. You can watch the full video or you can read through her answers below.
What’s your favourite part of being a real estate agent in Vancouver?
I love meeting people, that’s first and foremost! I feel like my clients are my family and friends. They’re not just sellers or buyers; they really become my circle and I feel really grateful that they’re sharing their experience with me. Getting to know their story means the world to me.
Do you have any hidden talents?
I do! My secret passion is photography, I love photography. I love capturing a moment in time, whether it’s people or places. That’s my secret talent!
What’s the most challenging thing about being a realtor?
For me, the most important thing is making sure that I’m fully serving my clients and making sure we’re achieving their goals. In today’s challenging market, inventory is very low so the biggest challenge for us is trying to make sure we get in immediately and get the property my clients want.
Do you prefer spring or summer?
Absolutely summertime!
What are you usually doing when you’re not working?
Well, I’m almost always working. I’m always on my laptop, looking for deals for my clients or learning more about the real estate industry when I have free time. But if I’m not working, then I’m just hanging out with my friends and family. I also love to shop online, of course I love photography, and I love to travel.
